Ali, Re: suggestions for unstable Athlon machine

Trying an English translation, I wrote: "trying each of the two sticks of SDRAM on its own to no avail"

The system has two separate DIMMs and since the error reported was memory related I thought it might be bad memory. So, I tried stick #1 by itself and the system crashed after a few hours. And stick #2 also crashed after a few hours.

I appreciate your suggestions and will give them a try right now as well as note in more detail the specific error language on the BSOD.
