I added some more...just read it again. I sent the book to a American riend a few months back, assuming it would stimulate him to explore. I am so embarrassed. He must have thought I was quite mad ! Subtitles are awful, but they're still okey, coz they are done by uneducated goons. But these guys claim to be experts in Urdu and on Ghalib. "Kahan mai-khane ka darwaaza aur kahan Vayaz bas itna jaante hain, kal vo jata tha ki ham nikle" The mullah and the tavern door seem to be two separate things, Ghalib But i did notice that he was entering yesterday as I was leaving! LOLOLOL This is really incredulously stupid !
