I stand corrected. The number of good die per wafer is 10-20% more, but clearly the percentage of good die to bad die is much lower, and that is what I meant by yield. I must be confusing the terms. My apologies.

Defect density, or however you want to refer to the ratio of bad die to good die, is far greater on AMD's process, and Hector was kind enough to give a very good indication os just how much.
