Bad news on iran in nytimes today and in bill safires column. According to safire iran worse than iraq in terror sponsership. Both have equal desire to acquire nukes but iran is more likely to with russian backing. Democratic revolution coming and we should be on that side. Ayotollahs hate for us undiminished. Allowing us to be used to fight common enemy--taliban(sunni fanatics) and iraq(blood enemy). News story in times supports much of safires thesis. Good news is that majority of folks want democracy and have some affection for US. mike
