Not really a trick, just a little levity<LOL>. Great response.
I think I was trying to elaborate more on individual things rather than heirarchical. I must remain cool and logical, tuning out those around me who think I'm nuts to believe in gold, for the sake of my family. My friends who think I'm nuts will come around <LOL>. Emotions become a part of it as you've shown, I think, in your last main paragraph.
"Trouble usually begins". No need for longer historical lesson, rather just after the beginning of the Clinton Administration<LOL>. The rest you mention have their hands on the levers of financial power and lucky for us, they are not always in concert so some get caught and take a fall like Enron. The main money ie GS, MS, ML need to keep creating bubbles even as the Fed keeps printing money so they will keep making scads of money even as the whole world economy goes down the toilet. If this sounds like I'm angry about these guys, there's that emotion I've got to fight. I want them to go down yet I have to follow them until just before they do (don't think that would be allowed to happen). Anyway sometime they will take all the money they have been parking in their gold shorts over the last years, cover it and go long. Whether this is the next bubble they create or the one after etc. it will happen. Now when you have to stay cool is when it's happening, because in a small market like gold there's little room for exit after the top, which is when the insider's and bankers decide it's time after they've increased their capital by 10 to 20 times. They'll need it to cover themselves on all kinds of other bad loan provisions. We'll need it because they're taking it and it will be necessary for our families in my opinion, just to maintain our existing lifestyle.
Hope this ramble means something and that the central idea is that we're on the same page.
