OT/Paul. An example and role model indeed<g>

Voltaire's Candide and other works are as classic an example as can be found in great literature of the urbane, sardonic, somewhat aloof & bemused attitude that slowly develops in tandem with a thick skinned practical realism after years of success in the quite Darwinian financial makets.<g>

His Dr Pangloss is a one of the best characterizations in literature of the idealist whose failures are the price of maintaining too many illusions about life and his fellow man..
