1999/4/12 - Former Director of Canadian Security Intelligence Service Joins Imagis' Advisory Board
Vancouver, B.C. April 12, 1999 - Mr. Iain Drummond, President and CEO of Imagis Technologies Inc. ("Imagis"), is pleased to announce that Mr. Reid Morden has joined the Advisory Board of Imagis. Mr. Morden has a distinguished career in foreign affairs as well as other senior government positions. He was appointed by Canada's Prime Minister in 1994 to serve as the President & CEO of Atomic Energy of Canada, a position he held until last year. From 1991 to 1994, he served as Deputy Minister, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, and from 1987 to 1991, he directed the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). Mr. Morden is currently a Partner, Sussex Circle Toronto. He is a member of the Advisory Board, York University International MBA program, the Canadian Committee of the Council for Security and Cooperation in Asia Pacific, and the International Advisory Board of the (Washington-based) Institute for the Study of Terrorism and Violence.
