Quantum Tech Names Niedzwiecki Oper Chief
IRVINE, Calif. -- Impco Technologies Inc. (IMCO) named Alan P. Niedzwiecki chief operating officer and a board member of Quantum Technologies Worldwide Inc.
In a press release Thursday, the company said Niedzwiecki was previously executive director, business development, for Quantum.
In September, Impco said it planned to spin off its Quantum unit by calendar year-end with a pro rata distribution to Impco stockholders of Quantum's shares owned by Impco. After the spinoff, Impco will focus its business on the alternative fuel market, while Quantum will continue to focus on primarily the emerging fuel cell industry markets.
