Let's see -- now Capt. Spann caused the revolt by asking a prisoner "Why did you come to Afghanistan?"

Does this make sense to you? It does to me only if you reason from the conclusion 'this must be America's fault somehow'.

Let's remember that the Al Quaeda fighters have signed on to a cult of martyrdom and a number of them have blown up themselves and their captors under the guise of surrendering, even before the prison revolt. The NA should have been more careful searching the prisoners but I guess they've learned their lesson now. They probably won't want to take prisoners at all, which the British press will decry as America's fault. Is already doing just that, in fact. Totally predictable.
