30 Year FBI Veteran, Oliver "Buck" Revell, Joins Imagis Board of Directors

Vancouver, Canada., January 31, 2000: The Board of Directors of IMAGIS Technologies Inc. ("Imagis") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Oliver "Buck" Revell as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Revell served for over 30 years in the Federal Bureau of Investigation and during his career advanced to the number two-career post as Associate Deputy Director.

Throughout Mr. Revell's FBI career, he served on many Presidential and Vice Presidential task forces. Amongst numerous positions, he was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Interagency Group for Counter-Intelligence, and a member of the National Foreign Intelligence Board and the Terrorist Crisis Management Committee of the National Security Council. Mr. Revell is a Life member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), and the founding Chairman of its Committee on Terrorism. Mr. Revell is President of the Law Enforcement Television Network (LETN) and resides in Dallas, Texas, where he also serves as Chairman of the Greater Dallas Crime Commission.
