Albert, interesting thought. it would not surprise me if AMD ran into problems making their own wafers. According to Paul Engel, making your own was something that Intel always did and AMD never did.

I doubt this would delay 0.13u output by much. It certainly sounds less scary than actual process problems.

EDIT - I see Jozef Halada already pointed out that TBred does not use SOI wafers.
