Vancouver, Canada, April 17, 2000 - Mr. Iain Drummond, President & CEO, is pleased to announce a new major business partner in Hong Kong, Lecco S.I. Ltd., a leading supplier of systems and services to the Hong Kong Police. Lecco has set up a pilot system of Imagis' Arrest & Booking Application, (CABS) for presentation to government and police.
Established in 1990, Lecco has over 100 employees, and is a leading technology provider in Hong Kong. The company has been involved in numerous integration and professional service projects with large corporations in Hong Kong, and in doing so has established a reputation of the highest order. By incorporating Imagis applications into its product line, Lecco is ideally positioned to provide advanced image-oriented applications to the law enforcement community.
