No DYN's mistake was believing Ken Lay and ENE's representations. From what I've read they had a lot of reasons to nix the deal. It doesn't take a rocket scienctist to figure out there was massive fraud perpertrated on investors. This was a classic case. Its not the first nor the last but it is the biggest. I chuckle when Ken Lay comments on it was just some bad investments. Yea like and if the reporting of them was proper they wouldn't have had to restate earnings. Here are a few of my ene comments.
