She's been one of W's best buddies. The press has reported that she spends weekends, many weekends, at Camp David. B4 the war, it was reported that she undermined Colin Powell's influence. Certainly, she is bright but she doesn't have Kissinger's academic credentials. Initially, she wanted the US to withdraw from NATO. She was an isolationist and may be still, as far as I know. From what I've read she is an excellent pianist. Also, she dilly-dallied around on the Stanford Board of Governors or Regents or whatever they call it I believe Pat said Rice had ties to the oil industry. I'm not sure how. Or maybe, I misunderstood, Pat. We should ask Pat. Pat keeps up on the oil industry..
