The NexGen chip was scrapped but the manufacturing process that made them is more important to AMD & INTC. In Jan 1996 AMD/INTC signed a cross patent agreement that shared each others secrets. Check out AMD home page for more info, I have also invested 33% of my portfolio in AMD. They have been around since 1969 and are the fifth largest producer of IC's sooner or later some other NEW technology will surface and AMD will have their hands in it.

I think it is a steal at 13.25 p/s
