Real good points you made there. When my son went to university to take computer classes he was the only white kid in his class. Is it the attitude that having fun is of the utmost importance that is having our kids pass on further education ? I don't know. My youngest son was a star athlete at college and had the highest grades in his school in math. I encouraged him to go on to a Masters but he wanted no part of it. He married a very lovely and intelligent girl who got her Law Degree and he works as an analyst. But I feel he has short changed himself by not going on in school. I wonder if being a white male has become uncomfortable at university today. There is such a hostile environment. As far as my HS ed I was at a special school so even being in the dunce class I suppose was special. You are right that not much has come out of Canada. My uncle a very good doctor left there a long time ago. Even higher taxation over there could be part of the reason.
