albert: You and Joe are right that it could not be soitec but still there is an arrangement between amd and one of the big Taiwanese companies ( can not recall who at the moment) about wafers. Are you thinking of the deal with UMC (Taiwanese foundry) to make Athlon processors? This is the only other "arrangement" of which I am aware. -fyo
