Such a short memory all spring the sabre's were rattling against the then enemy the Chinese. The Taliban conveniently showed up with no Air Defense Capability, no Air Power, and virtually no armor, essentially a bunch of guys with rifles and few horses

And several of our commercial airliners loaded with people and fuel not to mention targeting buildings full of people. Potentially 50,000 in WTC alone. You don't get it. The terrorists pose as much a threat as USSR during cold war. They get ahold of a few nukes do you think mutually assured destruction matters to a suicide bomber. Clit on should have dealt with this situation before they grew the balls to pull of 9/11. He Fuched up the CIA, FBI and military so bad nobody saw it coming. Dubya has done a great job of pulling them back together to get the job done (kill lots of bad guys) in 9 short months.
