Don, re >we are going to see some pullback<. Only until we don't.<G> Even if there are constant pullbacks, the time comes when the pull back is from 50 to 45 - not much help to those who wanted to buy lower than today's price. PnF charts are good for seeing that [even if you know nothing about PnF]. X's show advances, O's declines. To revert from X's to O's the price change has to exceed 3 'boxes' or 3 dollars in the case of AMAT. stockcharts.com

Note that since Sept all pullbacks ended up higher that the previous one.

The last column has 3 O's showing that today intraday price touched 40. Let me know if you already knew all that - I'm assuming most do not know PnF.

I found out today that StockCharts now lets you chart ratios. AMAT:NVLS is an example of what you type in. stockcharts.com[w,a]wallyymy[de][pb10][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9!Lf!Lc20!Ld20]

I suppose the ma declining shows NVLS is gaining on AMAT. At 100 both stocks sell at the same price. Can you think of a use for this ratio?
