IGIT, God has His wisdom in everything... there are many verses that talk about that had He wished it, He would have made the whole world as one nation... if you are asking what is the wisdom in it, I don't know... may be so that Muslims may learn and understand the Qur'an better upon searching into the meaning of the verses... may be as a proof to non-believers by referencing historical events.... I truly don't know. regards amein
