Two Palestinians Killed at the Bkaot Passage in Bikat Hayarden.
This afternoon, a suspicious Palestinian vehicle arrived at the Bkaot passage in Bikat Hayarden. An investigation revealed that during an inspection of the vehicle, held by the passage soldiers, the vehicle attempted to evade and hit the soldiers.
The soldiers who sensed danger executed the suspicious vehicle arrest procedures.
Being as the driver did not respond to the soldier's orders and continued with the evasive action, the soldiers opened fire toward the vehicle and killed the driver.
Apparently, as a result of the fire, an innocent passenger in a different vehicle was killed by a straying bullet.
IDF expresses its sorrow for the life lost.
IDF continue with the event investigation.
