Apparently, Intel is having a good quarter. First this report and now I just heard that D. Niles who's been a real bear on the chip industry just raised EPS estimates for Intel's 4th quarter...from $.08 to $.1. Anyone else hear anything?

Intel Having Trouble Meeting Processor Demand, Report Says

Intel was lower in the premarket after a report said it's having trouble meeting demand for its Pentium 4 microprocessor.

An Intel spokeswoman told Bloomberg the company is "trying to remedy the tight situation this quarter."

The chipmaker has slashed the Pentium 4's price by 84% in its first year as it contends with a big slump in computer demand.
