Looks like the next election campaign has begun. Democrats intend to make tax cuts the focus of the war on terrorism. I hope the geniuses in the Republican party have their strategy worked out.
Dems: 'It's George Bush's Recession'

(CNSNews.com) - It's President George W. Bush's recession, it stems from his tax cuts, and don't blame it on the Sept. 11 terror attacks. Any questions? Just ask the Democrats, who are preparing to roll out new political ads criticizing Republicans. Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chairwoman Nita Lowey (D-N.Y.) told USA Today the time is right to make an issue of "George Bush's recession." Lowey said the Democrats' new ads will focus on the Republicans' attempt to roll back the alternative minimum tax on corporations, according to a report in Friday's newspaper.

The theme will be big business benefits while the working man suffers through layoffs. USA Today quotes a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, who called Lowey's comments "despicable."
