Every time Congress tries to "simplify" the Internal Revenue Code, the actually end up complicating the damn thing.

Yes, isn't it ironic how that happens. And related to that is the use of the word, reform, when it comes to tax code. Everyone wants reform, but when they get down to it, people have very different ideas what the word means in that context.
