As for what platforms, I dunno, why don't you ask Netscape what kind of Java perf they are seeing on HP-UX or Mac 68K?
Pick the degenerate cases, why don't you? As for Mac 68K, give me a C compiler and some GNU stuff, and Netscape will do just fine, how will IE do? Same story with HP-UX. Why? They are working with standards. Are you?
How are you doing on Linux, SunOs, Solaris, Irix, AIX, etc.? Face it, you've got one platform, maybe two. Until you open up, you'll never be able to say your the best at something.
