BJ didn't have to read yer post to come to the same conclusion. This posturing isn't about shutting down the service its about at what price will it stay open. The best bargaining position is always given to the participant with the least to lose from walking away from the table. Credit-holders have to decide if its something or nothing and the MSOs have to decide if they can take this kind of hit at Christmas, their biggest signup period as well as lose future revenue streams from customers who will walk. I for one, have DSL right up the street from me. They'll make a deal, all that has to be worked out is the price.
