Eric L: on a recent post on the NOK board you wrote that in 2H'99 QCOM had its chance with Vodaphone but turned away; you quoted a friend as saying that was terminal as far as making VOD an ally for cdma2000. I was an investor in QCOM, probably too dizzy from the high altitude of the stock to concentrate on daily developments. What was the approach of VOD and why did QCOM rebuff them?
