Isla Mujeres is an island off the east coast of the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico.

Cancun is a combination of the west coast (almost at the extreme northern tip) of the Yucatan Peninsula and a small island very close ( a few hundred yards) to that coast.

Just thought you might want to know in case you try to sail around the wrong side of Cancun and hit the rest of Mexico. Could damage your boat.
