Hi twfowler, >"The Saudi Royal family - We did not put them in place, we do not give them aid, and they are not our puppets..."
No, more like they put us in our place, we are their puppets. The recent Prince So-Forth (Al Waleed, I think) who tried to donate $10 million to NY wagged his finger and lectured us on how to behave, and this after Bush Sr had us rush to the Middle East to put American lives on the line to protect Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
A bit arrogant and irritating, no?
These are the kind of leaders we have: It is our current foreign policy to pay zillions in tribute to OPEC oil, led by the royals, who are established supporters of terrorism, most recently the 9/11 initiation of "WWIII" (per Bush Jr.). Americans are brainwashed. Can you imagine the US or FDR personally continuing to support business interests with Hirohito after Pearl Harbor? US oil opportunists continue to control foreign policy, to the detriment of the American people, so, yes, change is a good idea.
>"There will always be people who disagree with our forign policy. Changeing it might just anger a new group. "
Like who? The truth is, we don't need to kowtow to the Saudis to threaten Iraq, or anybody else. The American consumer-taxpayers are under a collective mindf**k and don't realize our power and freedom to choose our own actions. |
