IBUI and LA Internet Offer First Month Free to Displaced ExciteAtHome Customers

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 2001--Internet Business International Inc. (OTCBB:IBUI - news) the Internet commerce, communications, marketing and financial services company, today announced that its national ISP, LA Internet through it's 2xtreme division, (www.2xtreme.net), is now offering one free month of dial-up Internet access to all 4 million potentially-displaced ExciteAtHome Corp. (OTCBB:ATHMQ - news) customers.

ExciteAtHome has been allowed by Federal Judge Thomas Carlson to shut its high-speed Internet service down by midnight tonight in a ruling that has been called a victory for ExciteAtHome bondholders.

Reportedly, ExciteAtHome is negotiating with cable companies including AT&T Broadband (NYSE:T - news), Cox Communications Inc. (NYSE:COX - news) and Comcast Corp. (Nasdaq:CMCSK - news) to avoid possible service interruption to its 3.7 million clients. This uncertainty of Internet access is why IBUI has stepped in to offer ExciteAtHome customers one free month of dial-up Internet access to preclude them from having to suffer an access disruption.

``We can provide a significant portion of ExciteAtHome customers with local dial-up Internet access right now -- and we will upgrade areas to high-speed wireless over time depending upon sign-up rates,'' stated Al Reda, CEO of IBUI. ``Customers migrating from ExciteAtHome will get their first month of service free when they sign up for one year of service at $14.95 a month.''

To contact LA Internet, call 877/374-3124 or 310/231-3595 or e-mail: info@lainet.com.
