All think that all religions, including atheism by the way, believe that they are right in their worldview. So far as I know, none of the major religions contain any moral guidelines advocating killing innocent people, whether by sacrificing them, crashing planes into them or by gassing them. That doesn't mean that there won't be people that come along and pervert the concept, and misguide believers. In fact that happens all the time. I don't watch the televangelists, so I can't comment on specific people, but I'm sure that some would fit into the category of false teachers. A warning sign to me would be one who bounces from place to place picking out a paragraph here and one there to suit his purpose. There are a lot of words in a bible, and if you pick a few from here, a few from there, and take them out of context you can use them to support almost anything, even Nazism. That however doesn't mean that the religion itself is the problem. If the religion weren't there, those evil people would use some other method to accomplish their evil purposes.
