Bringing this back to Islam, the question is this, should God create a book, the Qu'ran, (his so called word) that his followers could not understand on their own?
That would make God pretty unfair and I would question how much God loved people if he did this, with any book that supposedly is his word!
You brought in the other books. And to be honest, my opinion is the same about any book who claims to be God's word that can not be understood by the majority of people!
And lastly, one must examine, any book being questioned, to see what is says (and it needs to be readable!). That will shake out the truth from the lies. And if you don't think society has done a number on certain truths and changed them to be convenient and more to its liking (regardless if it is the truth or a lie anymore), I got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. And its a great buy!
