Revs off for the year so far, falling commodity prices, maybe this new well changes that? chart.stockwatch.com Westfort Energy Ltd - Westfort completes testing WD Rhodes No. 1-A well Westfort Energy Ltd WT Shares issued 71,032,503 Nov 23 2001 close $.180 Nov 26 2001 8:48:00 Mr. Arne Greaves reports The company's WD Rhodes No. 1-A well in Pelahatchie field, Rankin county, Mississippi, has been tested. The well was tested in a 20-foot Mooringsport (lower Cretaceous) sand through perforations from 9,832 to 9,838 feet. During the production test, performed Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, the well flowed at the rate of 240 barrels of oil per day and an undetermined amount of gas. The flowing tubing pressure during the test was 150 pounds per square inch. The well is presently being placed on production from the tested zone. The optimum daily production rate will be established after further evaluation. The company believes that this is a channel sand previously not tested on the Pelahatchie structure and its extent and location can be more precisely mapped with the planned 3-D seismic survey to be conducted. After placing this zone on production, the workover rig being used on this well will be moved to the next well the company has programmed for testing in Pelahatchie field.
