wbmw, good question. If Intel chips/systems were faster I would definitely go with them. Believe it or not I used to own a 600Mhz P3. If performance was equal but AMD system cost 30% less it would be a toss up. If the prices and the performance were the same I would definitely pick Intel. As s footnote I would like to say that if a Tier 1 like Compaq or HP offered Athlon Business systems my CIO would have bought some and our Corporate CIO could have too.
