Haim,
Don't misunderstand me, I think that Israel should do everything in its power to eliminate the terrorist campaign that has been going on for years. There is not going to be a peaceful solution. It is better to confront it sooner rather than later. At some point, Israel needs to say "whatever pressure that the US puts on us, does not outweigh the terrorism being done here (in Israel)".

I am 100% Israel dealing with the terrorism in the harshest manner. My comment was simply that the blame should not be put on the US. The US has every right to look out for its best interest (though I disagree with the idea that asking Israel and India to stand down is a good idea). And Israel has every right to say "you are our friends, but we are going to do what is best for Israel". If the Israeli government is not doing this (looking out for the best interest of Israel) then it is *their* fault (if one choses to put the blame somewhere other than the terrorists).
Respectfully,
JXM
