John,
it seems the terrorists are learning...

attacking the USA is costing them their leadership, their money and their soldiers.
attacking the WTC has earned them disrespect in the eyes of many arabs and the wrath of many countries.

if they can provoke israel into a massive counter attack, they may believe they can gain some of their lost respect back and obtain support from fellow arabs once again.

America on the other hand has been urging restraint from the israelis. yet even as we hold israel back, America is chasing the WTC terrorists and their supporters around the world with the full force of our armed forces.

israel has just as much right to defend themselves and their people from terrorists. israelis are not afraid to fight. they are not afraid to act unilaterally. arafat needs to practice his ducking skills. his followers need to put down their rifles and start digging. imho an unfriendly, heavily armed, and well motivated neighbor is coming for dinner.

if i am wrong about the terrorist motivation, look for more attacks in the USA and soon.

i wrote on sept 12 that the WTC attack has enormous potential to begin WWIII. we continue to head in that direction.
