Our cable ISP is Cox Cable, which also sources broadband service from Excite. I still have @Home service, but Cox called last night to say that Excite could 'pull the plug' at any time.

Our backup dial-up provider, ATT Worldnet, never connects at a speed above 24.4K baud due to the poor quality of the phone lines in the area. I hope Cox hangs in with @Home.
