One aspect of the T / ATHM situation unexplored:

Wasn't there a clause in the main contract that said T couldn't build an equivalent system and compete with ATHM?

AT&T registered that exact system on Oct. 2, 2001, while that same contract was in force?

Registering a system within a DNS search is building out a system. In fact, registering that system within the contract period made it available on DNS servers.

Wouldn't this be breach of contract?
