How did the driftwood hunt go?

It was grey and cool here all yesterday. Today it's sunny though and warming up to the low 50s, so they say.First two pieces I spun this morning I used the water been sitting on the wheel. Very cold. Finally got some warm water. What a difference that made let me tell you.

Hope to hear of you carving before too long, but if this weather continues as it has been, might nbot get much of a winter to get things done.

Last year at this time we had over 30" of snow on the ground and didn't see grass until Feb March almost. So far, we had about 3: of snow in mid Ocotber. Since then, I don't think the temps have gotten below 25 and then only on clear nights where there was no moisture in the air. Not that I'm complaining though :)
