Thanks Neocon. I'm familiar American-Israeli Cooperative view of history (I'll sit and read it more fully, but I'm running out of the house right now.). The view is one that has long been presented. I can't find it now, but Finkenstien, a professor at Hiafa University dispute the view you post. He says in 1949 or 47 Palesinians accepted the creation of Israel. They saw it coming and new they could do nothing about. But David Ben Gurion wasn't interested in accomodating Arabs. He was more interested in accumulating land and as a result played a geopolitical game that led to devisiveness among arabs. A divided arab world worked to Israel's advantage.

But look, I don't want to defend anyone or slam anyone. The Palestinians and Israeli's must come to an accomodation with each other.
