Ron I appreciate anyone who makes comments and certainly investing in XOXO or MCLD is a gamble . However when I invest I make certain assumptions- I assume that that management is working for the benefit of all shareholders and has an interest in the company surviving and becoming profitable. If I have made a mistake in that assumption I will inevitably lose money. Other investors speclators may have a different set of assumptions.
McCaw until now has been an honorable person. To me what is happening has little to do with the operating difficulties of the company and a lot to do with FL trying to be pigs and screw the minority investors. Otherwise they could have done a rights offering and offerred the opportunity to all shareholders to buy in, with the proviso that
if shareholders do not buy in by a certain time that FL and TEL MEX can scoop up the remaining shares. Instead FL is trying to improve their odds on the backs of investors who have supported them . This just stinks, and I want partners who are not trying to screw me. Simple as that. I am upset because I don't own shares in XOXO because
I recall a previous experience with their CFO ACkerson that marked him as an undersirable partner but I have invested /speculated in MCLD because I felt that there was some integrity there. I can live with the business risks but not the integrity risks. .
