Thanks Gary. I just checked my local listings and it's on December 14th. My wife especially likes Little Anthony and Roy Hamilton.

I looked Jay Black up on the net, trying to find out what his real name is. I always thought that he was an Italian/American boy from Brooklyn....this is what I found: Their first hit She Cried would peak at #5 on the charts. Jay Traynor would leave the group shortly after this to be replaced by Jay Black (real name David Blatt).

Where's the vowel?<gg>

Ask 100 people who their favorite American singing group from the 1960's is --- and the name you are likely to hear most often is JAY BLACK AND THE AMERICANS. ??????...not sure about that.
