Please explain what political goal of Iraq could conceivably be served by the anthrax attack? That's what I find incomprehensible.
In journalism, they say that the main elements of a story are "who, what, when, where, how and why?" in that order. You are supposed to write the story in that order so that it can be cut from the bottom up. The most important part of the story is who. But in this case, the only way to find out who is to find out why, IMO.
That's the way they caught the Unabomber. They printed his manifesto, his brother read it, and recognized the ideas that were being expressed.
The person or persons who did this had a reason. If you say "he/they wanted to cause terror," you haven't said anything of value. We all know that much.
If he/they hated Jews, the letters would have been sent to Jews. If he/they hated Bush, they'd have been sent to Bush. If he/they hated abortionists, they'd have been sent to abortion clinics.
They were not. They were sent to the liberal media, and liberal politicians. Therefore, he/they hate liberals.
BTW, I also believe that Oswald shot Kennedy. |
