If the verses are not in order, and earlier verses come after later verses, as you outline, IMHO it becomes impossible for the Qu'ran (Muslim's word of God) to stand on its own. And I know that it does not, as you need the Hadith as well, to understand some aspects of the Qu'ran.

Let me leave the Hadith converstaion for later, as I studied it many years ago with another Muslim. But it must be gone over when speaking about Islam.

I appreciate you letting me know the verses can be out of order though! But also adding contradiction into it, as your writer points out, and non-sequential thought, we have a tall task in reading the Qu'ran and making sense of it!
