To follow that reasoning, unc, you as an ex-military man would not be permitted to discuss armed hostilities, for by accepting paycheques you have profited ... not logical imho ... who better to comment on the militarist aspects of foreign affairs than a soldier, who better to comment on trade war impact than a BC logger at Ground Zero
'subterfuge by ostensibly arguing on behalf of others' - not so, i have been quite clear on a connection with BC forestry sufficiently long of term to make it my tribal affiliation, that should be evident in the use of 'us' as opposed to 'them' ... one doesn't need an immediate pecuniary interest to identify with a group
In another post you seem to be unclear on the meaning of 'stumpage' - it refers generally to payments made to landowners for timber harvested, in local usages it can include or exclude most anything ... not even the timber barons' lobby claims what you were suggesting .... and btw, resources are entirely a provincial jurisdiction in this country, yes we are overtaxed, we know it well, please inform Ottawa of your concern
In yet another post you focus on the spelling thing, and miss the metaphor in it, the response it gave to the point to which it was replying .... and in so doing, you avoid the central point - that no one, absolutely no one, has presented credible justification for the ongoing devastation of my province by an arm of your federal government
More and more i wonder if anyone will ever even try, and less and less do i care, so there's a balance there maybe eh .... cheers |
