Hi TX, Just a few thoughts: While Abiomed and World Heart have been duking it out over patents of a total heart replacement, THOR has a wider product line including VAD (Ventricular Assist System) and the HeartMate LVAS (Left Ventricular Assist System). While none of these companies have yet shown a profit, due in part to the expenses of in-process R&D, THOR appears to be unfairly hit recently from the negative news, surrounding the death of Robert Tool, the worlds first recipient of an implanted artificial heart, one designed and built by ABMD.
