I agree with much of what you say. I'm not sure, "One of them will disappear from the marketplace." I believe that one of the reasons it is confusing is that the whole issue is about more consumer choice. And the PC folks understand that and the TV set makers don't. They seem to want the status quo. And I'm afraid their in for a painful surprise.

As Will Rogers once said, "Even if your on the right track, you'll get run over if you stand still."
