In a word NO, the military CANNOT be trusted to ensure the Constitition will remain what it is without the CIVILIAN and Constitutionally assigned courts with checks and balances.
And I don't think it's shallow to think that those trained to kill and win battles can preside over courts in a Constitutional manner....any more than they can provide Constitutional police roles....it's you who are deceived.
Watching people go through metal detectors is about the end of it....beyond that, they are not trained for civilian police roles....ask them....they will say NO (and have MANY times in the recent past when asked to do police jobs)
