Bravo for Ed Zander. This is how PR announcements work, If you make a negative opinion, your call will have a mildly negative effect on the stock if any. However, if you make an optimistic opinion, your call could backfire so badly if the real news is bad so that there will be a loss of credibility. In the latter scenario the stock price will plummet. So it's best to be overly pessimistic in all statements.
