Japan and Korea rolling over tonight. Meanwhile, Taiwan is rocking, up 4%, oblivious to the rest of the world.

That is odd. Taiwan market seems to be tied to the semiconductor industry. I wonder what data or indicators they are seeing...semi demand, shortage of chips etc..
My bet would be some sort of leading indicators such as memory prices or capacity utilization.
If Taiwan stays strong overnight, I would be willing to bet on a buy of the Nasdaq (or maybe just the semis) on a weak open.
Of course, I would want the details behind Taiwan's strong rally before making that trading decision.
